We are currently working on our on-line registration process for the 2009 season and the system will be up and running early in the new year. Continue to check out this page for the link to the on-line registration website. In addition an email will be sent to all the referees who have given the OSA their email address reminding them to register and link them to the website.
In addition every referee will be getting a personal letter in the mail outlining the on-line registration process as well as an update on the new Referee Certification structure and how the new structure effects each referee.
For those who do not wish to register on-line (even though we strongly encourage the use of the on-line system) the mail in form to register will be available on this page as well at the same time the on-line system is launched.
Reminder that only referees that have registered within the past two seasons may register. If a referee has taken more then two seasons off between registrations (meaning a referee has not registered since at least 2006) the referee must complete a Referee Reinstatement form and be reinstated by the Manager of Referee Development before being able to register. Click here for a copy of the Reinstatement Form.
NEW FOR 2009
Starting in 2009 all referees or Parents/Guardians of the referee will have to sign either a Participants agreement (if referee is u18 date of registration) or a Waiver (if 18+ date of registration). This form has been mandatory for players and coaches to sign for the last three years, and the referees must complete this year. The first draft of this waiver was much stricter however has been vented and redrafted before publishing. When you go to register in 2009 please make sure you sign the appropriate form or you will not be able to be registered with the OSA.
For additional information on the waiver and participants agreement please see the attached document.

New Referees
Just a reminder that all new referees must attend a Mini Soccer Referee Course, if the referee is 12 or 13 or the Entry Level Referees course if the referee is 14 or older. The cost of each course includes the referees' first year registration as well as the clinic fee. A new referee may not skip this step and register directly without attending the entry level course or mini soccer referee course.
