There is going to be a change to how the Class 2 upgrading program will be run in 2008. There has been lots of work done on the Regional Development program over the years and there has been one full season with this program in three regions. The new Class 2 upgrading program will include many aspects of the regional program but will not be called the Regional Referee Development Program and will be more in line with the CSA Guidelines on Referee Development.
The Referee Development Committee and Staff are hard at work revamping the new C2 upgrading program and the process is well on its way. The new program will be launched in November 2007 at the District Referee Coordinators workshop in Hamilton.
